ReThinking Africa at HANNOVER MESSE: A Milestone for German-African Business Relations
At this year’s HANNOVER MESSE 2025, a powerful message was sent: Africa is a continent of opportunity, innovation, and leadership.
Together with Dr. Holger Bingmann and Stefan Liebing, the Foundation proudly introduced the Africa Leadership Award. This new award recognizes outstanding German investment stories in Africa, highlighting businesses that exemplify long-term commitment, local empowerment, and sustainable growth.
The award ceremony brought together high-level representatives from business, diplomacy, and politics, underlining the growing relevance of African markets in the global economy. From clean energy to digital infrastructure and agriculture, the winning projects showcased the potential of future-focused cooperation.
Voice4Africa, as a cofounder of the ReThinking Africa initiative, was honored to support the launch of the award and contribute to the shared mission of creating new narratives around African partnerships.
