Climate and Travel season
The best time to visit Equatorial Guinea is during the dry season, although this occurs at different times on the islands and on the mainland. On the island of Bioko, it is driest from November to February, when overcast skies and temperatures around 25 °C are the norm and sea turtles nest on the southern beaches. On the mainland, it is generally driest from June to August. The rainy season on Bioko usually lasts from March to October, while mainland towns like Bata are at their wettest around November.
Visa and entry
German nationals typically require a visa for entry into Equatorial Guinea, which must be applied for through the relevant Equatoguinean diplomatic mission before the trip.
